The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) has formally announced the new conforming loan limits for several High Cost Counties including Alameda County in California.
The new limits are as follows:
One-Family $729,750
Two-Family $934,200
Three-Family $1,129,250
Four-Family $1,403,400
These new limits were revised on 3/5/2008 as part of temporary GSE increase President Bush signed into law on Feb 13th. The temporary loan limit increase will be valid through at least December 31st, 2008. The previous FHA Limit for Alameda County was $362,790 and the previous Conforming loan limit was $417,000.

New Conforming and FHA Limits for Contra Costa County, CA
